The Warm Heart Technique
A strategy for emotional resilience and psychic protection

Dolores Cannon developed QHHT to incorporate methods for psychic protection. Expanding on her work, here is my Warm Heart technique that might help you feel empowered as you navigate life, sleep, and daily conversations.
The Warm Heart: The heart is the central Dantean (Qi Gong energy center) and chakra, acting as our inner sun and guiding us along the middle path to cultivate emotional balance and resilience. To recharge this psychic tool, spend time outdoors connecting with the sun's light, warmth, and energy. Engage in daily meditation to rekindle that loving warmth of the sun. Caroline McCready beautifully expresses this concept in her CD/MP3 Earth Journey Extended Guided Meditation. The next step is to personalize this warm heart tool by recognizing its energetic and physical response. Anchor it to a personal mindfulness strength—perhaps a memory of kindness, unconditional love with a child or pet, a triumphant moment of determination, like conquering a hike, or even something that made you laugh recently.
Some people recall past lives where they felt isolated and confined by an unwelcoming, uncertain world. As a result, they avoid imagery that makes them feel encased in protection. The warm heart technique can be helpful in such cases, as it allows protection to radiate outward from within. This way, we take control of our energetic boundaries. When the light within your heart powers up, it projects outward like the sun's rays, extending energy in five directions of the body: from the heart to the throat, to the crown of the head and beyond; from the heart to the shoulder, down the arm to the dominant hand and beyond; from the heart to the other hand and beyond; and from the heart to each leg, foot, and beyond.
Practice anchoring the sun and your personal strength into your heart—after all, you can't use a drill with a dead battery. When your heart becomes familiar with the feeling of being energized and warmed, this tool becomes truly effective. It's a great technique to start a meditation, handle being around a mood-draining person or an uncomfortable situation, or even recover from a Monsters Inc.-style bad dream.
I’ve been passionate about Qi Gong since the 1990s, starting with the standing still form, which helps with being present and feeling energy (Qi). The STOPP technique provides a framework complimenting Qi Gong and the Warm Heart: Stop and pause, Take a breath, Observe like a scientist gathering facts and embracing the unknown, Pull back to perceive anything off or to learn through discernment, and Practice recognizing patterns. Shibashi Qi Gong is my favorite for SMILE (Start My Internal Love Engine), especially when practiced barefoot on grass under the sun’s rays.
Let me know how you get on with the Warm Heart technique.
