Nurturing your Telomeres with Hypnosis and QiGong

Research findings suggest when we relax and our breathing is slow and deeper, we enable our body to mend the telomeres that are the end bits of our chromosomes, thus heal at a DNA level. When we relax, we find our tummy gurgles because the blood supply has diverted away from the muscles. We also find that our Cortisol (stress hormone) levels reduce. Cortisol is not a friend of Seratonin, which needs to travel from around our gut area to our brain for that positive motivation factor in life to go do something and gain a reward of joy. Hypnotherapy and Qi Gong are great ways to access that mind state (like mindful activities) to relax and calm the breath.
